3042 Series - Higher-Pressure Water Delivery

 

The 3042 series is intended for coffee machine water circuits that need more pressure than normal reservoir transfer. It can be considered for compact espresso and capsule machines where the pump feeds a higher-pressure section of the water circuit.

The 370 series is better suited to coffee machines that draw water from a removable reservoir. Its self-priming design helps the water circuit recover after the tank is emptied and refilled. Check-valve options can also help control backflow after shutdown.

365 Series - Higher Water Transfer

 

The 365 series is designed for applications where water-transfer capacity matters more than higher brewing pressure. It can move water between the reservoir and internal modules in larger coffee machine layouts.

Where Will the Pump Be Used in Your Coffee Machine?

 

 

Before choosing a model, define where the pump sits in the water circuit.

Reservoir Water Intake

In coffee machines with a removable water tank, air can enter the inlet tube when the tank runs empty or is removed. A self-priming pump should be able to restore water flow after refill. Suction height, tubing length and inlet resistance should be checked in the actual machine.

 

Internal Water Transfer

When a micro diaphragm water pump moves water from the reservoir to a heater, valve block or other internal module, tubing, filters and valves reduce the available flow. Select the pump by its flow at the required working pressure rather than by free-flow data alone.

 

Brewing and Controlled Water Delivery

If the pump feeds the brewing side of the machine, working pressure becomes more important. The required pressure and flow should be confirmed together before selecting a higher-pressure pump.

 

 

 

 

Flow and Pressure at the Actual Working Point

 

 

 

Maximum flow and maximum pressure do not describe how a pump will perform inside a coffee machine. Tubing, valves, filters and height differences add resistance and change the actual flow.

Water Temperature and Wetted Materials

 

Pump inlet temperature should be confirmed before model selection. A pump installed between the water tank and heater works under different conditions from a pump handling heated water directly.

Wetted materials should be selected according to water temperature, service life and the specific requirements of the coffee machine project. For coffee and beverage equipment, food-contact material options are available, and FDA- or NSF-related requirements can be reviewed for suitable OEM projects. Priming, Noise and Operating Cycle

 

 

Self-Priming After Tank Refill

For removable-tank coffee machines, the pump should recover water flow after air enters the inlet tube. Suction height, tube routing and trapped air can affect restart performance, so this should be checked in the finished water circuit.

 

Pump Noise After Installation

Pump noise should be evaluated after installation. Brackets, plastic housings and tubing can transfer motor vibration to the coffee machine enclosure, so free-running pump noise alone does not represent the final machine noise.

 

Operating Cycle and Service Life

Pump life depends on run time per cycle, start-stop frequency and working load. Household coffee makers and commercial or office machines can have very different duty cycles, so the expected operating pattern should be provided before life testing.
