Micro Solenoid Valve
Micro Solenoid Valve Manufacturer for Precision Fluid Control
Micro solenoid valves designed for precise liquid and gas control in medical devices, coffee machines, laboratory equipment, and smart appliances. Available in multiple voltage and flow configurations with OEM customization support.
Basic Working Principle of a Micro Solenoid Valve

A micro solenoid valve controls liquid or gas flow by converting electrical energy into linear mechanical movement. Most micro solenoid valves use a direct-acting design, where the electromagnetic force generated by the coil directly moves the plunger to open or close the flow path. When voltage is applied to the coil, the resulting magnetic field pulls the plunger, changing the position of the sealing element and allowing media to pass through the valve. When power is removed, the return spring pushes the plunger back to its original position, restoring the valve to its default state.
Micro solenoid valves are typically available in two configurations:
Normally Closed (NC) Micro Solenoid Valves
Normally Open (NO) Micro Solenoid Valves
While the operating principle remains the same, valve design requirements vary depending on whether the valve controls air or liquids.Micro air solenoid valves are optimized for rapid switching and minimal internal leakage in pneumatic systems. Micro water solenoid valves emphasize sealing reliability and leakage prevention to maintain stable water flow during repeated switching cycles.

Main Components and Structure of a Micro Solenoid Valve
The performance of a micro solenoid valve depends on the interaction between its electromagnetic components and internal flow structure. In most direct-acting micro solenoid valves, the coil, plunger assembly, return spring, and valve body work together to switch fluid paths between different ports.
Electromagnetic Coil
The electromagnetic coil generates the magnetic force required to actuate the valve. When energized, the magnetic field pulls the plunger to change the flow path inside the valve. The coil design affects:
- Operating voltage (3V, 5V, 12V, 24V DC)
- Response time
- Power consumption
- Temperature rise during continuous operation
