To thoroughly implement national fire safety laws and regulations and safety production policies, further strengthen the safety awareness of all employees, and comprehensively improve emergency response and collaborative handling capabilities in the face of sudden fires, Shenzhen Pincheng Motor Co., Ltd. meticulously organized and successfully conducted a large-scale, practical fire evacuation drill and comprehensive training activity on fire extinguisher operation on the afternoon of October 19, 2025. This activity aimed to truly implement the fire safety policy of "prevention first, combining prevention and firefighting" through a combination of "theoretical explanation, demonstration teaching, practical experience, and simulation drills," creating a more stable and reliable safe operating environment for the company.
I. Meticulous Planning, Theoretical Foundation First: Solidifying the Foundation of Fire Safety Knowledge
The success of the drill was inseparable from thorough preparation and systematic education beforehand. At the start of the event, the company invited experienced professional fire safety operators to serve as instructors, delivering a comprehensive and easy-to-understand lecture on fire safety knowledge to all participating employees. The instructors, using typical industrial fire cases from recent years, deeply analyzed the prevalence, suddenness, and immense harm of fires in production sites, reminding everyone to maintain a high level of vigilance at all times.
The lecture focused on the following aspects:
1. Fire Causes and Prevention: A systematic explanation of common fire causes such as aging electrical wiring, improper equipment operation, negligence in flammable material management, and careless use of fire was given. Specific daily inspection points and self-inspection and rectification methods for fire hazards were proposed based on the actual conditions of the company's production workshop.
2. Comprehensive Analysis of Firefighting Equipment: A detailed introduction to the various fire-fighting facilities installed in the company, including dry powder fire extinguishers and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, their applicable fire types (such as Class A solid fires, Class B liquid fires, Class C gas fires, and Class E electrical fires), internal structure, working principles, and daily inspection and maintenance requirements. Meanwhile, the functions, connection methods, and water supply principles of the components (hose, nozzles, valves) of indoor fire hydrants were explained step by step.
3. Emergency Escape and Evacuation Techniques: The training focused on self-rescue techniques such as remaining calm in a fire, judging the direction of fire and smoke spread, using wet towels for smoke protection, and crawling in a low posture. It also covered collective escape procedures, including recognizing safety exit signs, following emergency broadcast instructions, and quickly and orderly traversing evacuation routes. The instructors emphasized that "time is life," and correct initial response and evacuation order are crucial to reducing casualties.

In a designated safe open area, the instructors first demonstrated standardized fire extinguisher operation. He clearly called out the operating instructions: "Lift, Pull, Grip, Press," and simultaneously broke down the actions: quickly lift the fire extinguisher, pull out the safety pin, grip the tip of the spray hose, aim at the base of the flames, and press down firmly to spray dry powder to cover the burning material. The entire process was crisp and efficient, providing a perfect demonstration for the employees.
Subsequently, under the close supervision and professional guidance of the instructors, employee representatives and volunteers from various departments took turns to practice using fire extinguishers. From initial slight awkwardness to gradual proficiency, the employees personally lifted the fire extinguishers and successfully extinguished a pre-set small oil pan fire following the standardized procedures. This step transformed abstract theory into real muscle memory, effectively overcoming the nervousness and fear some employees felt when facing a fire.
Next, a fire hydrant usage drill was conducted. The instructor team demonstrated how to quickly open the fire hydrant box door, lay and connect the hose and nozzle, and activate the water supply valve, among other actions. Employees worked in groups, simulating a real-world scenario, practicing hose connection, deployment, and retraction. Despite the challenges posed by the heavy equipment and splashing water, through hands-on experience, employees gained a deeper understanding of the importance of teamwork when operating large firefighting equipment and mastered the basic procedures for initial fire suppression using fire hydrants.

To test the training's effectiveness and improve comprehensive response capabilities, the highlight of the activity-a comprehensive drill simulating a fire scene-was officially launched. The drill simulated an initial fire caused by an electrical fault in a company warehouse, triggering a smoke alarm. The company's emergency command center immediately activated the fire emergency plan, and the evacuation guidance team, firefighting team, communication team, and safety rescue team quickly took their positions and performed their duties.
Amidst the urgent alarm, all employees strictly followed the predetermined evacuation routes, covering their mouths and noses with wet towels, crouching low, and quickly and orderly evacuating from various office areas and production workshops to designated safe assembly points. The entire process was tense but not chaotic, with unobstructed evacuation routes, demonstrating excellent discipline and rapid emergency response.
Simultaneously, the firefighting team quickly donned protective gear and rushed to the simulated fire location. Based on their assessment of the fire situation, they made decisive decisions and flexibly applied their newly learned skills: extinguishing small fires at close range with fire extinguishers, and quickly activating nearby fire hydrants and connecting hoses to control the fire in case of a larger blaze. Communication between the teams was smooth, and their teamwork was excellent, successfully extinguishing the "fire" before it spread, thus perfectly completing the pre-set firefighting and rescue mission.

After the drill, company leaders and fire instructors provided on-site feedback and a summary of the entire process. Leaders pointed out that the drill was well-organized, had a clear process, and high participation, achieving results far exceeding expectations.
